exercise is good for you, laziness is not

But, however good “Three Imaginary Boys” is, it's nowhere near as astounding
as 's forthcoming single. I've just listened to “Feel
Cheap” for the 6th time in a row. I'm absolutely, utterly jealous. I want to
be their roadie. That would be enough for me. I could retire. Retire from
whatever it is I'm supposed to be at the moment. I feel like throwing myself
around the room like an 18 year old. Let's hope other 18 year olds feel the
same; then hitBACK might make some bloody money and afford to put out the
next languid-by-comparison Free French album.

There was a great band from Edinburgh in the late 80s / early 90s called
Archbishop Kebab, very upbeat, ragged and punky, with violins and possibly
accordions, my memory is hazy. Anyway, the singer used to run on the spot.
And after a few gigs, the audience began to join in. It was a magnificent
spectacle, seeing 3 dozen people running on the spot. Anyway, that's what
people should do at HOST gigs. All the songs are the correct speed. It would
be fantastic, especially somewhere like The Garage, when HOST finally get
the success they deserve. It would look like the beginning of the London
Marathon.
