Well, I'm not ill after all.
It has been said in the past that I'm a terrible hypochondriac. And there certainly was a period of about 3 years where any vague rumblings of discontent in my lower intenstine would definitely be appendicitis, 100%, no question. But I definitely felt like a cold was coming, last night. Really. Honest. Duh. I am the boy who cried “gout”.
As if to balance the fact that I'm not sneezing, I just checked my email to find 84 new messages, only 1 of which wasn't offering me Vicodin at knock-down prices, or advising me that many wives want to cheat with me. The Stepford Wives, probably. In a game of Scrabble. And then I went to the bathroom and succeeded in gouging a chunk out of my right index finger. So, here I sit with a bloodied tissue, wondering what's going to go wrong next. Maybe will trick me by giving me a drawing pin.
