Alright? I'm the technology columnist for The Independent, and have written stuff for The Observer, the Radio Times, The Guardian, Olive, Zeppotron and many others, on subjects as scintillating as crumpets, Morrissey and data centres. I've written a book about wasting time on the internet called FWD This Link, and another called The Next Big Thing which is a history of things that seemed like a good idea at the time. I sometimes go on the radio, too.
I've been in so many terrible bands I've lost count, but these days I play with Scritti Politti, Gentlemen's Agreement, Keith John Adams and occasionally Frank Sidebottom. There's more information about me here. Sorry about that.

I'm just reposting the following, as I did it at the weekend when a lot of LiveJournal people aren't reading. So:

will be moving out before long, having saved up some money and keen to prepare a love-nest for him and his lady. I will be distraught to see him go; who else will write up weak puns on my hallway-mounted white board?

So, the perennial question… If anyone knows anyone looking for a competitively priced room in Tooting from around the end of March / April, do point them in my direction. Can I also add that 100% of my tenants have moved out within 18 months, having found Sweet Love. Single men and women, form a queue, ready to be touched by the Magic of My Flat.
