some answers

It seems to be correct etiquette not to post the questions that have been posed of you. But I think that's a bit pointless. So.

smakake — got any trousers on yet?

I have had trousers on today, but now they have been removed again, as I am about to have an early night.

dibbs — Will the housing dept be nice and give me some money soon?

They're not a group of people renowned for their speediness. If your local housing dept have been taken over by a private company, I would say there's little hope of receiving anything before the 12th of Never. I'm sorry to have to break this to you.

tassostantsis — is that all there is?

Is quite the most beautiful song by Peggy Lee. “Is that all there is, to a fire?” Everyone, hunt it down, and go listen, immediately.

masterbuilder — how do you feel when you first open your eyes in the morning and realise that you are still here?

Generally grotty. The fact that I've managed to make it successfully through the night doesn't cancel out the headaches and sinus blockages that I've managed to accumulate during that period of time. I'm sorry if that's not philosophical enough… I become rather disorientated and upset just looking up at the night sky.

sisterphonetica — what am i doing wrong?

You're not taking enough Vitamin B12. It helps with tinnitus, I've heard, amongst other things. And whatever any chemist might tell you, it's impossible to overdose on it. You won't be harmed by excessive doses. So get guzzling.

alfaguru — Did you get the duvet cover on?

I did, but now I'm at Jenny's and I have to put another one on. I've never put 2 duvet covers on in successive nights before, and to be honest I'm a little concerned about the effect it's going to have on my well being.

furrysnake — whats your favourite cheese, if you have one?

Recently I've become rather partial to goats cheese. Special occasions demand a strong Brie, but for day to day nibbling I'm perfectly happy with a Sainsburys 4-strength Wexford cheddar.
