I've not done an exam or any kind of test since 1992, when I achieved a barely respectable 2:2 for my degree course. We had a bunch of rather bizarre exams where the invigilator wandered out of the room for most of the 3 hours, leaving us with various textbooks which he gave us full permission to use. I've supposedly got a degree in Music, but it's actually more like a degree in Copying. Ever since then I've shunned or avoided tests of my abilities, and its the main reason why I've failed to learn to drive. Along with the fact that I'm scared of cars.
Anyway, the reason I mention this is that I've got to do a “writing test” tomorrow for a possible job on the website for the 5th series of, uh, Big Brother. I don't quite know why fate has strewn such an odd collection of turds and delicious cream cakes in my path recently, but I'm quite enjoying the overall effect. And as to whether you think aforementioned job is a potential poo or an eventual eclair, well, I don't care. I'm going for it anyway.
Boring weekly advert: Tim and I continue the Meals On Wheels Of Steel competition, amongst other things, on the Resonance FM show tonight at 8.30pm, which you can listen to here.
